Proficiency level of students: Pre - Intermediate Name of the activity: The Road That Changed the Direction of My Life Instructions: I will show students the fork in a forest road that is divided into two. These two roads will have almost equal characteristics with each other. (color of the leaves, how long the road has been walked on, etc.) I will leave the choice of roads to the students' free will and ask them to first write down why they chose that road, then what they may encounter on that road and what will happen to them in the future if they choose that road. I will match students who choose different roads with each other. (The student choosing the 1st road will be matched with the student who chose the 2nd road.) The students, who exchange their writings with each other, will see what they can encounter on the road they did not choose, with the comment of the other student.   Proficiency level of students: Pre - Intermediate Name of the activity: Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who Has My Future Plans? Instructions: After reading the poem, I will give the students a mirror like the poem to the students. They will look at themselves with this mirror. First, students will look into their mirrors to understand the feelings of the woman who looks at the mirror in her room and is afraid of getting old and losing her beauty. Afterwards, they will look in the mirror, prioritizing their own feelings. If the mirror in which the students looked at themselves talked like in the poem and made observations, what could it say about the students? They will make predictions and write them down on a piece of paper. They will then assume that the mirror has been observing them for years and make assumptions about themselves in the future. Although the subject is prepositions, the only subject I evaluate is not prepositions. The activity tests many skills. Students improve their pronunciation by repeating the words with the audio files. They can visually look at the place of the items and form a neat sentence about which objects and which side.

Hi again! This is an application that I never heard of before. Come join me to find out this application!  Flipgrid  is a social learning platform that allows educators to ask a question, then the students respond in a video. Flipgrid  is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions. Each grid is like a message board where teachers can pose questions, called "topics," and their students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display. The video lenght is from 15 seconds to 5 minutes and I think that is a good gap because you can give a simple answer or a comprehensive one. I think teachers can determine the seconds so that students won't be  confused about their response video's lenght. Another great feature about Flipgrid is that you are not only limited to talk with your teachers. Student to student is a great way to learn actually and Flipgrid matters that subject.
