360º Virtual House Tour! (Prepositions)

 We will learn about the rooms in our house with the 360º Virtual Tour video I prepared!

 a) for any group of students: Pre-intermediate level of students

 b) to teach any language skill or content: Prepositions and vocabulary of items in the house

 c) that requires students to engage in a collaborative or self-regulated learning: It is an activity aimed at students collaboratively completing tasks and participating in learning.

d) with a clear assessment criteria set: I evaluate multiple skills in my activity. Although the subject is prepositions, the only subject I evaluate is not prepositions. The activity tests many skills. Students improve their pronunciation by repeating the words with the audio files. They can visually look at the place of the items and form a neat sentence about which objects and which side.

My Virtual Reality Experience

Hi everyone! Today I want to talk about my recent experience that I loved : Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality is a computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment. Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment. You can experience it so extreme that it sometimes can make you sick. Virtual reality sickness occurs when exposure to a virtual environment causes symptoms that are similar to motion sickness symptoms.The most common symptoms are general discomfort, headache, stomach awareness, nausea, vomiting, pallor, sweating, fatigue, drowsiness, disorientation, and apathy. Tools:Socrative

We have a new addition to our tools family: Socrative! Socrative  is a cloud-based student response system developed in 2010 by Boston-based graduate school students. It allows teachers to create simple quizzes that students can take quickly on any device that they have (laptops,computers,smartphones,tablets)  You have 3 options to create a quiz:multiple choice, true/false, short answer. This platform helps students to learn anywhere and how they want. Every student is different and they can take the tests however they want. To some students, true or false is a good way to learn but according to some students, it makes the learning process harder and they become confused. You can keep track of your students and take notes of their progress. It makes the feedback process easier and you get to know the every individual student. I created a quiz with using the true/false technic and I enjoyed it very much.
