Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform that makes it easy to create, share and play learning games or trivia quizzes in minutes. All players connect using a game code on the common screen and use a device to answer questions created by a teacher or another leader/person. Did you know that Kahoot means in an alliance or partnership? Well, now we know the meaning, we can see that it makes sense because it is a learning platform that you can use in your social groups such as family and friends. But you can go farther than that. According to the company, you can have up to 4,000 players at once! So you could use Kahoot during an online seminar or with an auditorium full of people.

My Virtual Reality Experience

Hi everyone! Today I want to talk about my recent experience that I loved : Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality is a computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment. Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment. You can experience it so extreme that it sometimes can make you sick. Virtual reality sickness occurs when exposure to a virtual environment causes symptoms that are similar to motion sickness symptoms.The most common symptoms are general discomfort, headache, stomach awareness, nausea, vomiting, pallor, sweating, fatigue, drowsiness, disorientation, and apathy. Tools:Socrative

We have a new addition to our tools family: Socrative! Socrative  is a cloud-based student response system developed in 2010 by Boston-based graduate school students. It allows teachers to create simple quizzes that students can take quickly on any device that they have (laptops,computers,smartphones,tablets)  You have 3 options to create a quiz:multiple choice, true/false, short answer. This platform helps students to learn anywhere and how they want. Every student is different and they can take the tests however they want. To some students, true or false is a good way to learn but according to some students, it makes the learning process harder and they become confused. You can keep track of your students and take notes of their progress. It makes the feedback process easier and you get to know the every individual student. I created a quiz with using the true/false technic and I enjoyed it very much.
