Hi everyone! Today we are going to talk about Edmodo. Edmodo is an educational website that takes the ideas of a social network and refines them and makes it appropriate for a classroom. Edmodo is a free app and it helps students and teachers connect outside of the classroom, too. What is a better way for using technology, right? It helps and enables students to connect and work with their classmates and teachers anywhere and anytime. It still helps to create a private environment too. If you don't want to open your files to the world, you can create a class in here and you can still get the effect of a real classroom.

My Virtual Reality Experience

Hi everyone! Today I want to talk about my recent experience that I loved : Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality is a computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment. Virtual reality is an artificial environment that is presented to the user in such a way that the user suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment. You can experience it so extreme that it sometimes can make you sick. Virtual reality sickness occurs when exposure to a virtual environment causes symptoms that are similar to motion sickness symptoms.The most common symptoms are general discomfort, headache, stomach awareness, nausea, vomiting, pallor, sweating, fatigue, drowsiness, disorientation, and apathy. Tools:Socrative

We have a new addition to our tools family: Socrative! Socrative  is a cloud-based student response system developed in 2010 by Boston-based graduate school students. It allows teachers to create simple quizzes that students can take quickly on any device that they have (laptops,computers,smartphones,tablets)  You have 3 options to create a quiz:multiple choice, true/false, short answer. This platform helps students to learn anywhere and how they want. Every student is different and they can take the tests however they want. To some students, true or false is a good way to learn but according to some students, it makes the learning process harder and they become confused. You can keep track of your students and take notes of their progress. It makes the feedback process easier and you get to know the every individual student. I created a quiz with using the true/false technic and I enjoyed it very much.
