Hi everyone! As you can see from the title, we are going to examine St orybird!  Storybirds  are short, art-inspired stories you make to share, read, and print. It is a fun, collaborative, storytelling website. In the website, they are not giving you a blank white paper to write. They create their own concepts. That's why it's so easy to start with Storybird. If you want to improve your writing skills but you don't know how to do this, Storybird is a good start for you and for your education. Inside the website they have tutors and they speak about how to write your own versions. It is really helpful to see some teacher about this subject.  Storybird  was designed to allow children to work with parents and friends in creating art-inspired stories to share and save. Hi again! This is an application that I never heard of before. Come join me to find out this application!  Flipgrid  is a social learning platform that allows educators to ask a question, then the students respond in a video. Flipgrid  is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions. Each grid is like a message board where teachers can pose questions, called "topics," and their students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display. The video lenght is from 15 seconds to 5 minutes and I think that is a good gap because you can give a simple answer or a comprehensive one. I think teachers can determine the seconds so that students won't be  confused about their response video's lenght. Another great feature about Flipgrid is that you are not only limited to talk with your teachers. Student to student is a great way to learn actually and Flipgrid matters that subject.  LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER ACTIVITIES Pre-Reading Activities Instructions: In this activity, I will show the cartoons to students and ask some questions before reading the text. For example; What do a woman, a man and a lamb's feet could have in common? What do you understand from the facial expressions of woman and man? Rationale behind the activity: The rationale of this activity is to create an active conversation environment with students. Gathering information about the text through visual cues helps them to develop their creativity and critical thinking.
